These awesome 4th graders are working on some pretty creative Water Cycle projects! For the past few weeks, your child has been researching the Water Cycle and Weather on our Earth, and what causes both! I have been checking with students one-on-one each day to see what they've learned, and I've been impressed and pleased with the amount of knowledge that many of them have gained!
Now, the students are coming up with awesome ways to show what they've learned! All of the student groups will be presenting a "weather report" to show what they've learned about what causes weather, and how to interpret weather symbols. For the Water Cycle part of their presentation, though, the groups had the freedom to choose how they wanted to share what they learned. We have so many creative ideas!!
Several groups are writing songs that explain the process of the water cycle; some groups are hosting an interview style show where the special guests are a drop of water and the sun; a few groups are even creating games that they will make their classmates play in order to learn more about how water changes! It's awesome! These special projects really show how our 4th graders are able to think out of the box!
The projects should be finished by next week. I'm excited to post videos of each group on our blog! Stay tuned to see what your child and the rest of our 4th grade scholars do!

¡Los alumnos impresionantes de 4to están trabajando en algunos proyectos muy creativos del ciclo del agua! ¡En las últimas semanas, su hijo/a ha estado investigando el ciclo del agua y el estado del tiempo en la Tierra, y lo que hace que las dos cosas! He estado revisando con los estudiantes uno a uno cada día para ver lo que han aprendido, y ¡me he quedado impresionada y satisfecha con la cantidad de conocimientos que muchos de ellos han ganado!
¡Ahora, los estudiantes están inventando formas creativas para demostrar lo que han aprendido! Todos los grupos de estudiantes van a presentar un "informe del estado del tiempo" para demostrar lo que han aprendido acerca de las causas del eastado del tiempo, y cómo interpretar los símbolos del tiempo. Para la parte del ciclo del agua de su presentación, sin embargo, los grupos tenían la libertad de elegir cómo quieren compartir lo que han aprendido. ¡Tenemos ideas tan creativas!
Varios grupos están escribiendo canciones que explican el proceso del ciclo del agua; algunos grupos están organizando un programa de entrevista donde los invitados especiales son una gota de agua y el sol; algunos grupos están creando juegos que harán que sus compañeros juegan en para aprender más acerca de cómo cambia el agua! ¡Es impresionante! ¡Estos proyectos especiales realmente mostrar cómo nuestros estudiantes de 4to grado son capaces de pensar fuera de la caja!
Los proyectos deben estar terminado para la próxima semana. ¡Estoy emocionada de subir videos de cada grupo en nuestro blog! ¡Estén atentos para ver lo que hacen su hijo/a y el resto de nuestros estudiantes de 4to!
